Popular opinion is that they are too small, but fast, and therefore unable to stop the run. Funny thing is that they said the same thing about the Florida Gators!

They can't stop the run and who knows how good they really are against the pass?...Because the run defense is so porous, the other teams stay on the ground an abnormal amount of time...Lets face it, the running game is safer than the pass so if a team can't stop the run OR the pass, the opposing team will run, run, run.

The Colts are all set on Offense...This off season they HAVE to get better on the D side of the ball or they will NEVER MAKE/WIN the Super Bowl (To answer your next question)

Don't blame Peyton if they don't make the SuperBowl...He can't play on both sides of the ball.

I am an honest Colts/Peyton Manning fan.

The Colts have really never had a premier defense, that is the reason why they must rely on Peyton Manning, and speaking of Peyton Manning, he no longer has a good Running Back he can rely on the fool the defense. He should not be throwing 30-40 passes per game, that is how games are lost.

Poor defensive tacklers and their line leaving holes the size of the Grand Canyon. The Colts defense made Fred Taylor and Jones-Drew look like Jim Brown.

no running game means they cant jump out to big leads and force the other team into a passing game early

they didnt have a good rum defence last year but scored so early and often the other team was forced to pass
