I have no idea why while I am going to System Restore, as I did couple of times, I cannot go to an earlier date..It says click on the date in bold, but it's 6.01 and I am stuck with that function.

These are probably just shortcuts. I doubt that the actual folders are on your desktop. But if they are, you can open Windows Explorer and use the tree structure it displays to move them wherever you want them to be. If these files are actually only shortcuts, you can use the SEARCH feature in Windows Explorer to find the location of the original files. So, if "Incomplete" is on your desktop, open Windows Explorer and search for "Incomplete." If you find it you can then delete the shortcut that is on your desktop.

to answer your first question the files/folders on your desktop would not just appear, it sounds like you might have some sort of mal ware on your machine, but you should be able to just delete the extra icons without problem, for the windows restore it is downright worthless it is the first thing i turn off on any fresh install as it can actually do more harm than good and gives people a false sense of security that they can do anything and always be able to restore, but i actually do not know anyone who has gotten it to work right. And for ccleaner don't use it if you want to clean files go to start - all programs - accessories - system tools - disk cleanup wizard, this does a fairly decent job. Also make sure to run a good virus scan and ad/spyware scan to check for infections

Its good which you eventually found out that hes no longer the single for you. i understand 4 years is a protracted time and a ot of struggles alongside the way. i'm very happy to take heed to which you have been waiting to stick on your genuine values for 4 years. you're no longer the criminal in this in any respect, you caught around hoping for a transformation. My suggestion to you is stay single and function some relaxing with your girlfriends. i understand you will think of of him lots, and contemplate whether you made the final determination, yet stand your floor, if he somewhat cares for you and needs you in his life he will exchange. through exchange i dont advise exchange each and everything only, communicate and greater, approximately your insecurities and emotions. permit him and your self wait it out and notice the place it is going from there.

I think that your best bet is to do a system restore. However You might try going into c cleaner again and find out if you can undo what you just did.

If they are just shortcuts and you don't want them, you can delete them by right clicking on the icon and selecting delete.

After you delete the ones you don't want, right click on any empty space on your desktop, select "Arrange Icons By" and then select whatever method you want to arrange them.

Good luck!!
