Because it would not benefit Americans. Who benefited the last time that was done? Why make Americans wait in line for their turn to raise the minimum wage, reforms and health care?

There is more leverage with our government branches than the impeachment stick.

The house and senate give the Dems the stage to lead the way to change or the case to throw them all out and start over!

Impeachment is a long process and the democrats don't have enough of a majority to force the issue, impeachment proceedings right now would be a waste of time and money and would only further divide the country, Bush only has two years left, he's pretty much a lame duck anyway, what we need to do now is concentrate on business at hand and the next election....impeaching Bush would do more harm than good at this time.

Since we are a democracy, we prefer to to use the election process. See here in America, we are allowed freedom of speech to debate our Presidents ways of running the country. Someone has to find a legal reason to impeach him. He has not broken any laws or impeachment would have already started. Why would we want to impeach someone who has the guts to fight terrorism anyhow?

They don't have the willpower, as long as it's nothing that directly affects their ignorant existences they couldn't care less.

PS:hrh_gracee don't participate in an international forum if you cannot handle criticism, once again so typically American.

Oh and leo_girl: "within the law"? Bush has broken numerous international laws and treaties, or don't they apply to America?

Oh and meathead: Stop pretending as if America are the only Democracy in the world and Americans the only ones who can understand Democracy. By the way, very fitting name

because too many people in this country have the TERRORISM BLINDERS on. They are in constant fear of their neighbors, ignorant about day to day political events, intolerant of differences, and willing to give up THEIR freedoms and rights. It is a sad sad travesty, in my humble opinion, that this administration has succeeded in creating a society that votes against their own best interest.

Bush terrifies me for many reasons.

In the first place, he's done nothing illegal. In the second place, we realize that...a fact that has obviously escaped your razor-sharp mind.

I see you haven't said what Utopia you currently live in....I'm guessing Canada....

Grundoon makes an excellent point.

in addition, he has not yet done anything impeachable. At least not as far as anyone outside the administration knows.

You mean Clinton? We tried that. He skated because he was such an excellent liar and Hillary wasn't about to say anything that might tarnish her chances of ascending to the presidency.

If you mean Bush, I like the guy. He's done nothing impeachable. He's just plain Peachy.

Wait. Before we can impeach we need investigations to provide the charges necessary to bring him to justice. Bush and Chaney need to go but we have to do it right.
