I am on a Toshiba Laptop and nothing is plugged in the back. Just a plug on the right side and a pink and green mic on the right front. I did have a web cam plugged in back, but took it out when problem started.

USB = Universal Serial Bus

USB is used for, webcams, cameras, keyboards, mice, anything that you plug into your PC nowadays. (even glowing Christmas trees) all things electronic that plug into your PC would have a USB plug on the end.

Theres usually two USB Ports on the front and 4 on the back of the PC, ( they are rectangular in shape ) If you have plugged something new in recently or installed something new, this could be causing a conflict with your PC.

Its hard to tell from your description but I hope this points you in a better direction.

USB stands for Universal Serial Bus, the port commonly used these days to connect peripheral devices. What doesn't work on your computer? If it doesn't respond to the keyboard, check that the keyboard cable is firmly connected.

USB = customary Serial Bus... it is the type of connector that latest-day laptop contraptions use, mutually with a mouse, information superhighway digicam, miniature thumb drives, printers, etc.. the warning itself isn't reason for alarm. i could close the warning field and proceed along with your employer as familiar. maximum possibly your daughter had an auxiliary gadget related to the laptop that grew to become into bumped off previous on your utilising it and that warning is merely alerting you to the certainty something is disconnected, mutually with a printer, digicam, mouse, etc... it isn't any longer something in any respect to be alarmed approximately.

you have a loose or disconnected wire on the back of the main computer box. turn everything off, remove the cables one by one clean them and put them back where they came from, make sure everything is snug--not tight. reboot and try your unit again, if the message still appears, go back to slowly wiggling the cables and reseating them until the message disappears, good luck

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
