... that is computerized and eventually takes over... there is something at the end about the family being eaten by lions that the house has "created" to come to life out of a tv documentary. It sounds corney - but I swear Ive seen it.... early 80s I think.

I remember a short story called "The Veldt" that had this plotline. And I vaguely remember there being a movie based on it, but I don't remember what the movie was called.
