The best moment of my life was when I found love again after my divorce. I never thought I would find someone or be able to love again.

doing something you love the most.
in my case, the best moment was when i finally decided to join the ministry when i was 22 years old. it was a very difficult decision to make especially since i knew i could do much in life if i choose to have a career in research in the academe. my decision stood in sharp contrast with what my college classmates did. i was aware that it was not a popular decision but i felt it was the best place where i could spend the rest of my life.
i remember very well how it felt the night before i made my final decision. i was out in the terrace alone, trying to think it through for the last time. i tried to recall how, years before that final moment, i dreamed of becoming a minister. it was a passion that gripped me at an early age. i thought it was just a childish dream but later i realized it was more that wishful thinking. in fact, it even felt like it was the dream that gripped me.
as i stood there at the terrace, looking at the clear night sky, i couldn't believe i finally reached the point where my dream collided with reality. the thought overwhelmed me. i realized that i was less than 24 hours away from reaching my lifelong goal.
i guess the best thing about it was the drama that i felt that night. it was like stepping into a mystery room that has been unlocked for the first time... it was like walking in a field of flowers under a clear sky... it was like walking in a red carpet... or some other emotions like that.
today, five years later, i still cherish that single moment of utmost bliss... the best moment of my life so far.

The moment I realized I was reborn into Christ. This came afer having been born, baptized, confirmed and raise as a Christian and having walked away from the church throughout my early adult years to the point where I once even said "hell no" when asked if I was a Christian.
Now everyday I am reborn once again as I grow in knowledge, experience, wisdom, and in both faith and fear of The Triune God while he allows me to continue living. By the way, I'm anything but clergy...I'm just a guy, working his way through life, like one you may know, going through all the trials and tribulations that we all go through.
And then some. I'll avoid the details but, by my count, I should be dead more than a couple times. Why I'm alive is beyond me. But that I am is fine with me. And when the time comes that I'll be gone from this life, well, that will hardly be a time with anything but joy.

The last time my children gathered at my table was 20 years ago. This Thanksgiving, they all came together with spouses, lovers, children, stepchildren and great-grandmother. It was answered prayer and glorious restoration after great schism and heartache.
