how to look emo?

i like emo stle.it is really cool.but i don't really know how to dress like a emo.please help

Learn to apply eye-liner.... that is really hot on a guy. Wear black, dye your hair black & let it hang in your face, try not to smile. Some facial piercings. Write poetry. Be kind of feminine... absolutely not macho at all!

It's a cool *look*, but people who act 'emo' are really annoying! The whole fake depression thing makes it tough for kids who are really in crisis. I have an 'emo' niece who is very depressed and everyone is blaming it on her "just being emo, and she'll grow out of it".

This is simple. First decide on a wild hair style, preferably something that hangs in your face. Then you need a thermal (It's a type of long sleeve shirt, if you didn't know). Then you need some black pants, preferably with little rips. Another good tip, would be to wear black eye liner. If you add any piercings, jewelry and/or spikes, then you're heading towards punk. Which isn't bad, but isn't emo. This is all I can offer.

I would like to note, that I believe the only way to choose your stye is to try everything at least once. Even if this means trying on some preppy clothes at JCPenny's. You never know until you try. In case you're wondering, I'm a punk skater style, with a slightly emo haircut. And I have tried all the looks. This is what I'm most comfortable in. I'll attach a pic. cloths: skinny man jeans[preferably black] shirts, you could do many shirts lik go to hottopice and ther are good shirts ther if not just look at some really cool sweat shirts!! her wicked.

hair: u dont have to dye it black to look emo, thats just stupid, but grow it out longenough to either cover your eyes or part to the side! if u want to dye it black, but the one thing that makes and emo stand out from a goth is that they have individulality, so stick a huge chunck of color thro ur hair or sumthing

make up: ok not alll emos or goths wear make up, but to get that awesome look u at least have to use black eye liner on the lower eye lid [ask a woman to do it , or show u ]

artsy and indivdualism are the 2 main keys that seperate emo from goth.

pick ur favorite color[or the color that looks best on u] and make ur secound fav collor black.then go shopping and stick to those colors and soon ull find ur own style

emo is all about having fun and being and doing wat the **** u want in ur young lif!!

Although I think emo is a little silly, and you shouldn't try it because kids or teens with real problems get overlooked.

or in my personal opinion, use lots of black, no facial makeup similar to the goth. Black pants, not necessarily black shirt, wrist or arm bands, long hair for boys, short for girls.

you shouldnt TRY so hard it should just come naturally if you are "emo"

but w/e


cut your hair really edgy and have your bangs cover one eye
dye it a dark color


wear black eye liner, not too much cuz it just looks blaa, but not too little cuz then you look gay


wear black tops (band shirts/sweatshirts)
wear converse or vans etc.

wear tight pants
but not too tight cuz thats just gross
dont wear girl pants, they are for GIRLS ONLY


and paint your nails black

just dont make a drastic change all of the sudden, start with the band shirt, then get a haircut, get the shoes, then get the tight pants ir w.e just dont do it all in one day

just don't try to hard wear skull neck a chive black skinny jeans and cool accessories,maybe get the sweep hair cut to that will make a big difference!oh and i think the emo style is really cool to!

Dye your hair black,and have it long in the front so that it covers half of your face.Wear eyeliner,tight pants(I dont mean tight as in cool tight,I mean tight tight lol)Wear vans,and maybe like........................a rock band shirt and then a skater type jacket(element,krew,DC,etc......)
