P.W.-Bush will not be president for ever.If policies are implemented that ignore the true nature of the threat we will be hit and hit hard.

John Doe-What we need to do we will not do.We need to eliminate all money from this country going to any Mid-East nation including buying oil.We need to remove our troops and reset the coordinates of several ICBMs to target the oil fields Mecca and Medina. Then we simply state that no further aggression of any Muslim group will be tolerated and if any occur fire.
We have nukes I have no problem with using them.

They will first experience a state of shock. How can this happen again? We are good people, why can't they see that? Then when the shock wears off they will demand action. When action is taken and the realities of war set in again they will blame the powers that be for both the initial attack and the unjust war which followed. See, see what our war mongering ways get us? These people cannot see the threat which terrorism poses. They honestly believe that all people think like they do, and that if we just make more of an effort to understand and then appease them we will all get along. This is fantasy which denies the realities of world history, but I wouldn't count on it ever changing.

Absurd question and most replies. We know another attack is imminent--we've been told that by Bush and co. on every chance they've had. What do you want me to do about it? Give up my life because the foreign policies of this country incite hatred? Not likely. Just because this government chooses to bully instead of employing diplomacy does not mean I have to be party to that. If you are so in favor of killing and fighting, why aren't you in the military right now?

And your claim that someone who doesn't want to fight is somehow unAmerican is beyond rational. There is no room for peace or diplomacy or any different approach than war? If that's the only solution you can come up with to problems, you clearly are not that bright.

Sounds like your anticipating it when you say "When the next attack comes"
One of the main issues is securing our own borders, something the current Administration has not been able to get a handle on.
You have to face the facts, and realize if illegals can cross our borders freely, dont you think even the most stupid of stupids can do it too.

Well, if you listen to people like Pat Robertson, its not far off, is it? Gee, maybe God will even give him the coordinates ahead of time so we can evacuate.

You have any constructive suggestions as to how we can fix the mess we're in?

Short of nukes, that is?

Cowards are cowards, but we have a vocal bunch here!
They enjoy the safety and sacrifice that others provide.
I believe it is their self loathing, inability to respond to adversity, that makes them criticize those who react and respond with action.
In a put up or shut up situation you can bet your bottom dollar that, without the military or police to protect them, they would shut up in a hurry and quickly become a casualty and a statistic.

You really see those as the only two options? That's incredibly narrow minded. But I suppose it is also the way that the Bush administration looks at it too.

I would never cheer when someone dies -- anyone! But I also do not believe that killing other people -- especially innocent people -- is a justifiable, moral response.

I thought that Bush was going to stop another attack. Do you mean to tell me that it's inevitable?
