He refused to do an love scene with her in the Pelican Brief out of loyalty to his african american female fans. What if Julia had refused to do a love scene because she wanted to be loyal to her white american male fans?

i totally agree with you. it's just another example of liberal hypocrisy.

if a white actress refused to do a love scene with a black actor for ANY reason, it would be the end of her career and she'd forever be remembered as a racist and everywhere she went she would be met with liberals taunting and heckling her.

but if a black actor refuses to do a love scene with a white woman, he is "sticking to his roots".

total hypocrisy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it mattered to me and the peace of tghe world, I would dedicate some serious thought to it, but I do not see that it does, nor will it
ever, so I say thatg I do not allow others choices to affect how I choose to be.
Denzel is a good actor, Julia is a good actor, I like that movie.

i think of Denzel Washington is better than the different 2, yet Al Pacino and Robert Deniro are distinctly good. seem on the video of Al and Robert! i found it on Youtube! they are somewhat great actors. I only nonetheless like Denzel better. My mom likes him, too. She thinks he's the final actor.

Denzel Washington doesn't do love scenes with anybody out of respect for his own moral values.

He was trying to get back at Michael Richards but got Julia Roberts confused with Julia Louise Dreyfus ;)

So what if he did?! You can be loyal to YOUR roots, but Denzel can't be loyal to his?? Does that make sense? White people take racism way to far, and then try to rationalize it with--- If WE did it to them they be up in arms.....
I'm white by the way.

Al Sharpton would be out blasting her, there would be a lawsuit and she would be called a racist white *****, sued and they would try to destroy her career. I'm just guessing. Racism from blacks is getting a brick wall here. They are really pushing the envelope, like a child trying to see how far he can push his/her parents. I'm not going for it. I guess I can scream battered women's syndrome and burn my husband in his bed. I'm not married or battered, but you know what I mean.

To each his own. Look how Tom Cruise's popularity was downgraded
after he married Katy.
