I have written a story and would like to know how to have it bought
and published.

There are about 5000 similar queries on Yahoo answers. Why do you feel the need to duplicate these questions? Anyway, send your story to a publisher or an agent. They will write back if they like it.

How I got mine published is that I bought magazines for writers to find magazines that were accepting articles and about what and also I wrote specific magazines asking if they would be interested in my article concerning---------
