With an almost complete lack of a sense of humoUr? I've been struggling with this question for years. I welcome all objective non aggressive American Christian Fundamentalists (Modern Nazi's) to answer this for me.

Objectivism is impossible. You will always see everything in connection with who you think you are, what you've been told, where you were raised, where you currently are, what your individual belief is. People see what they want to see because that is all the are capable of seeing.

The question seems to be more of baiting than anything. I'm not a Christian, not a Fundie, but I am nonaggressive and American. Your question in itself isn't objective, so why would an objective answer be expected?

A better way to ask it would be "Why does it seem that many Americans are more subjective thinkers than objective thinkers?" No fallacies that way.

Okay I am one of those Christian's, I have a great sense of humor. I am United Methodist we aren't uptight and stodgy. As far as being objective I don't have a problem with that at all.
You know the difference between a Methodist and a Baptist? A Methodist will speak to you in the liquor store. Have a good day!

Your hanging out with the wrong people my friend. I find that Americans are by far the most liberal nonjudgmental culture on this planet. Look at America for pets sake. If this country isn't one big rolling joke then i don't know which one is. (This may sound unamerican but i am true red white and blue make no mistake.)

I don't know why you limit this to Americans. It is our human condition to have our thinking affected by our perceptions, our needs and our beliefs. We can approach objectivity only with great effort and then it is still an approximation.

OK, I am capable of objective thought! But what's supposed to be funny about your question?

Americans can't take a joke and will shoot you before listening to constructive criticism.
