The distance between one end of our Galaxy (The Milky Way) to the other end, or the diameter is approximately 100,000 light years. The galaxy is spiral and the shape may be considered almost circular if we view it from the top. Then the circumference can also be calculated without really looking into the books. The circumference would measure approximately to be 2pi times r, where r = (50,000 light years). The circumference is as calculated 314,000 light years. Our galaxy contains as calculated by astronomers almost 200 to 400 billion stars. This is done by taken one square centimeter from the galaxy and configure how many stars are found within that square centimeter with the aids of telescopes.

The main disk of the Milky Way Galaxy is about 80,000 to 100,000 light-years in diameter, about 250,000 to 300,000 light-years in circumference, and outside the Galactic core, about 1,000 light-years in thickness. It is composed of 200 to 400 billion stars [1].

The diameter of the Milky Way is about 100,000 light years wide. A light year is the distance light travels in a year.

The speed of light is:

186,282 miles per second
11,176,920 miles per minute
670,615,200 miles per hour
16,094,764,800 miles per day
5,874,589,152,000 miles per year (This is the distance of one light year).

So, since the Milky Way is 100,000 light years wide, that makes it about 587,458,915,200,000,000 miles wide.

LMAO. We would stay bald around the rest of our head, because no hair would be growing since there's just one hair on our heads. To get a haircut, we'd just need to cut it off with scissors. I imagine it'd hurt like hell if it was plucked. You could style it by carving your name or initials on the hair until it grows back (and keep doing it again)!
