I am a victum of a ILLEGAL. I had a accident yesterday when a van driven by a illegal from centreal america hit me in the rightside front door. He was arrested for running a stop sign & having POT in his van. They found out he had been deported in01 but came back. he also had NO insurance so guess whos insurance picks up the bills . He caused the accident but I will pay higher premiums.Why do we deport people if we cant make sure they do not return? What if he had killed some one. whould we just say sorry & let him go to his homeland?

I have uninsured because in this state it is the law. I HATE paying for some one else who has NO insurance

Sorry that happened to you, but would it have made a difference if he was an American citizen?? Would you still be proclaiming your victimhood in that case??

I'm in Iraq and my wife and kids were hit by an illegal alien from Mexico running a red light. No one was seriously hurt, but he had no insurance and the only driver's license he had was a MEXICAN drivers license which in LEGAL IN KENTUCKY!
THAT is a HUGE problem! These guys don't fully understand our laws.
by the way, this guy was already wanted for two other violations in which he didn't show up to court for. Had he shown up, he would have been in jail and the accident would have never happened.
Let's make this worse...
My wife and kids go to the hospital where we provide our insurance card and co payment, sit through that whole process while the Mexican goes straight back, has no paperwork because he has no insurance and pays nothing. We just payed twice. Once for my family and once for him.
GET ILLEGALS OUT NOW!!!!

Hate to hear that, but we can't stop the illegals and if we really wanted to Americans would not want to pay. You see the borders in Europe with all the guards at every road. Do you want to pay for that, or for that matter live in a country that has all the guards at the borders?
You can argue the higher premiums or you can change companies to one that doesn't count that type of accident against you so harshly.

That really sucks....In Canada we call it no-fault insurance. If we were in Vancouver, at least we'd roll you one and say, "Sorry about that accident, eh?" I hope you are okay after the accident. A vehicle can be replaced. Don't be bitter, but try to stay away from vehicles being driven by folks who can't see over the windshield.

sorry to hear about your troubles , but you know I ask that same question a while ago to a lawyer and he said the court cant Cort marshal him if he said he want to go home and his country Will only prosecute him if the same thing he was deported for is a big crime in his own country so now you know he will just come back and back until he murder some one and then maybe he Will get some jail time.

Yes,yes and yes.Do yourself a favor and get uninsured motorist added to your insurance policy if you have not done so already.Their are so many illegal in my state at this point,I wouldn't dare drive without it.
