I keep on getting urine infections and i am currently having my bladder, kidneys etc investigated.. but now i have got mild cystitis again which started last night. Its so frustrating as i am a healthy person normally. I really dont want to have any more antibiotics as i've had 3 lots in the past two months, so i'm wondering if any of you now of any way i can control it myself? For example.. would drinking lots of water and cranberry juice get rid of it so i dont have to go to the docs?

Lakewood make a concentrated cranberry juice, i mix mine with maple syrup or blackcurrant or pure raspberry to sweeten it up.
1-2 litres fixed my cystitis in 4 hours and i havent had it since.
There are cranberry capsules also
You may need Acidophillus to counteract the antibiotics.
Perhaps yeast -bread, beer, yellow cheese, wine, raw mushrooms are helping to trigger the infections?
Try Olive leaf extract to kill the yeast fungus, or a partner can infect. Maybe he needs the yeast detox
Avoid animals as they have lots of parasites which can cause problems.
Chemicals can cause probs also , use herbal shampoos, deoderants, dish detergents cleaners etc

Yes difinitely cranberry juice and water is very good for cleaning out the bladder, also you can take bicarbonate of soder with water it doesnt taste very nice, but it really does the trick, just put a teaspoon in a glass of water or orange juice to take away the taste abit,, this works wonders for me, but if you keep getting cystitis you should see your doctor because, you may need antibotics for a bladder infection, or it might be even more serious, so i would get it checked out if it keeps persisting.

The cranberry juice and water is very good. The burning pain of cystitis is caused by the urine being acidic, one way to help this is by taking bicarbonate of soda, its tastes foul, but it really works. Be careful not to take too much, a half teaspoon in a glass of warm water morning and evening is enough;

i am not a big fan of antibiotics myself. they destroy both good and bad bacteria.
sounds like you may need a good chiropractic adjustment, your body is not able to rid itself of this problem.
i am a firm believer in apple cider vinegar, unpasteurized. you can use on salads, and drink i glasses of distilled water, plus organic unsweetened cranberry juice. add 1/3 tsp acv to each glass which helps acidify urine, inhibits bacterial growth and promotes healing. you can sweeten the cranberry drink with organic grape juice or raw honey. watermelon a few times a day will also help heal and flush the kidneys, bladder.
good luck

some people have a tendency to this problem. have cymalon powders or effercitrate to help flush it out when it first starts. get checked for candida it may be re-infecting you from other areas and will build up in your system from taking anti-biotics. Pau d'arco may help so see a herbalist..it can't hurt to try. parsley tea is disgusting but very effective and will protect your kidneys.
