Your best bet would probably to have it professionally appraised. There are many things that go into the value of a musical instrument that a book or a website just cannot tell.

take it to violin shops etc. and get opinions. speak to people who play violins.

if you are trying to sell it sell it to an antique shop or put it on ebay
