The best thing you can do is to go see a dermatologist. They can prescribe medications suited to your needs.
If you don't want to spend that much money, then you can try Proactive. Some of my friends have tried it and says it does slightly improve the complexion of your skin.

I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer better then fifteen times. Often, the person who voted it the best answer was amazed at how well it worked, even those who had severe cases of acne. I'll copy and paste it below.
Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.
Here are some of the previous comments I got from those who voted it as the best answer,

Proactive works for alot of people, so you might want to try it. It's not very expensive.
Also, I notice that my face always got breakouts when my skin would be oily (although, most of the time I have normal textured skin, not too dry, not too oily) so I use clean and clear toner when I notice I'm breaking out.

pimples are caused by androgen hormone that becomes active during early adulthood.to avoid this or to lessen this:
1. wash your face with soap and water twice a day. use luke warm water first to the pores of your skin and apply soap to clean it up. then rinse with cold water to close the pores again.
2. apply tretinoin, clindamycin, proactive etc. - consult a dermatologist about this.
but for me that best thing to avoid this is through proper hygiene coz the acne is caused by dirt that tends to block our pores.

PROACTIVE is awesome. i've tried everything and this has been the best thing for my skin. i think you really should try it. if the problem continues, i'd see a dermatologist. my niece is interracial also and she went to the dermatologist and got a prescription antibiotic and her skin looks awesome now.
