Hi Carla, I too have been warned away from using a wireless usb. Part it undependablity, the other, someone may be able to get into your computer, if I understand correctly.
There is an easier way, costing probably £40 or so. If you get a cross over networking cable and a pcmcia card for networking you can hook two computers together for networking purposes, and with a high degree of security combined with fairly fast data transfer. I had that kind of simple home network until one of the midtowers went down. One of these days I will have it back up and running.
It will be best if you are running Window$ 2K or XP. Me is a bit of a pain to network.
I hope this helps

There are all kinds and at different price points. For example, there are wireless devices that come with their own wireless adaptors and simply plug in.
I don't know if there are wireless devices that work for several, or multiple different, devices.
Check Staples, Circuit City, CompUsa, for cheaper stuff check Geeks.com or XPCgear.com

Hi friend whenever you post a question, please try to post with required details, so that it will be easier for the answers to post coorect and appropriate answers to it. Here you didnt mentioned about the places you live or You want it online? if you want it in online means you can try in Ebay and other online auction sites too. And the cost may vary with each seller.
