take a wet paper towel, place seeds on it & roll it up, then place it in a glass with a little water in the bottom so the paper towel does not touch the water. Then put a plastic bag over the glass & place it in a dark warm place. In a few days they will need to be placed in soil.

All seeds need different stuff in order to sprout and grow. Some grasses need heat to sprout and some need it very cool. Some grasses you can direct seed it onto your growing medium and others need a cold moist stratification for months before you plant them. I would go online type in the particular grass name and propagation after the name. You should get many hits on it . Otherwise it's to hard to tell you because I have no idea what kinds of grasses you have..."ornamental" isn't enough to go on.

Put the seed in appropriate growing media, keep it watered correctly and give it proper lighting. It should grow from there.
