Many people asked such a thing.First of all,you should close all TV's,all computers, all distractions. You should get dressed in something confortable, preferably pijamas. If you like you can get a hot cup of tee, milk or coffee. You should sit in a confortable place, sitting on an armchair or on the bed.You can establish a reading time, for example:START AT:4:30...FINISH AT:6:00.Always lie down on a pillow for confort.Turn the LAMP light on(only the lamp, because you wouldn't see shadows in your books).I hope this helps you.I'm not a nerd but when I read(if I read) I always do what I just shared with you.Good luck!

I think that you really don't want to study MORE, you want to remember more of what you're studying, right?

The best way to do it is to NOT cram for an exam, but study a little each day. When you get home from school (or while riding the bus or subway), review what you learned in class that day. I don't mean re-reading everything, just go over the main points that your teacher(s) covered in class.

When doing your homework, go a little above and beyond the assignment. You have to write 2 paragraphs about a subject? Write 3...and make them GOOD, not lazy...you know the difference! 10 math problems? Do them, then look ahead at what you'll be studying next.

When studying for an exam, study with a friend. Make up "test questions" for each other. Make it into a game. The one who gets the lowest "test score" has to buy a snack (or do something nice) for the one with the higher score.

Don't think of studying as a chore, but as a game that you CAN win!

the best time to study is in the morning, where in your mind is completely fresh and you can easily pick up the items that you want.. Also, the other guy was right, you should be motivated first and you are willing to do a certain task!

Set aside a certain time every day for your own personal study time. Be diciplined and stick with it! After awhile, it will become a habit and easier for you. Make sure that you pick a time of the day that is relaxing for you (alone and quiet).
Good luck! :-)

Have more sex. Then, you'll be more relaxed and able to sit down with a cup of coffee and study until it all repeats itself.

dont make study an event but rather a process. this means you should take as much time as possible on each topic / subject.
