You say that you can listen to it only when using the earphones... So it is more of a hardware problem than a Windows problem... Maybe the speaker itself has the problem since it doesn't make a sound. Have you tried plugging in another set of speakers to listen for any sound?

This could be a number of things - if you are able to hear through headphones, it is probably not a software problem since the sound device is working, yet the computer speakers aren't emitting the signals. So quit playing with Windows for a moment (that will help calm you down...).

It may seem like a complicated question, but I had this problem with a new laptop once - until I found the manual volume control on the side! If you are using external speakers, you should check the cables and switches on those too.

It's also possible that you have something wrong with the speakers and are faced with a repair/replacement job.

Good luck.

First of all unplugged the headphones, after that turn on the speakers, plug the speaker connector in the same position like headphones.
If this not works then u have a problem with the speakers!
U can try them on another device that use the Jack connectors
if still not working then try voodoo magic maybe that is the solution.
:D

If you have connected the speakers and trying to use earphones it won't work. Try to unplug the speakers and insert your earphone plug into the speakers connector port on your PC. And hopefully it will work.
