Yes I remember them well. I had Sonic, Lotus Driving Challenge, others that I've forgotten. Oh, yes and I hd Jungle Strike, where you flew around in a little helicopter - Fantastic.
My abiding memory was how amazing the graphics seemed after having a Spectrum 48k for years before.
Great days. By the way that Megadrive got me started in adult life too. I sold it when I was 17 - with the £150 I made, I went out and bought a Ford Fiesta!!!

I loved my megadrive :) Still got it now and get it out occasionally to play Sonic on. Sonic 3 was my favourite, and I loved the Sonic&Knuckles game, where you could slot the two games together!
Beats any of the new consoles in my opinion ;)
Also used to play Golden Axe and Streets of Rage with my brother, but he was way better than me.
I think the only thing that beats the Megadrive is the NES. Long live Super Mario :D

I remember them! Well... I can't I wasn't born then, but I still have a Megadrive! I don't use it now because I can use an emulator to play my games on the computer! They open up *.bin files which are called ROMs! The are even communities that hack them to make their own levels!

The Megadrive was excellent, so many great games you just wanted them all! One of my all time favorite games is "Revenge Of Shinobi". 5 games that standout are :
1) Revenge Of Shinobi
2) Sonic 2
3) Streets Of Rage 3
4) Ghost & Gholes
5) Super Monico GP

Cor blimey, I forgot about that one! I remeber Sonic the Hedgehog, Jungle Strike, Alex the Kid, A game where we set out to kill Aliens and A hockey game where, every now and then the players would stop to have a punch up! Ahh the old days! lol!

My kids still resurrect our one every now and again, I remember staying up til all hours playing Bubble Bobble 2 player with my mate, and never getting past the last level. Great fun. Sonic rules!!!

yup i still have mine, allthough its in the loft but i get it down now and again.
nothing could beat sonic, also have fond memories of pga golf on it as me and my old man used to play it all the time.

the mega drive only had one thing going for it and that was sonic the hedgehog, at least hes still around!
