How's this. I'll give you some fruits, and then you think of the proverb that goes along with it?

Apple
Lemon
Grapes
Bananna
Grapefruit

Remember, all proverb means in this case is a short phrase that is common in the language. For example, a proverb using an animal would be "Holy Cow!" That does not make sense in any other language but English.
