is there a maximum height that a human being can grow? on earth, that is.

seems like there are people popping up everywhere who are well over 2 meters.

The tallest man grew up in Slovakia or Ukraine somewhere, but i can;t remember his name or height, and he isn't in the Guiness book of world records. I saw him on t.v.
