I don't mean by law. I mean by your standards.

Pipkin: I have a life, unlike those who revolve around smoking weed.
Not everyone approves of that "lifestyle".
Deal with it and stop your bitching or stop smoking weed. It's that simple.

From persoanl experience I can tell you that 16 is way too young to get married. I was 16 with one child and another on the way. I was forced to marry the father of the kids and what a disaster that turned out to be. We lasted 9 1/2 years before I couldn't take the abuse any longer. I missed my prom, senior dances, and my graduation. All because I thought I was all grown up at 16 and wanted kids, marriage, and freedom from my parents. What I got was just the opposite. Take things slow and don't rush into anything. Life is too short to begin with without rushing through it. Adult life isn't all it's cracked up to be.

I believe that if your ready to get married then your ready, if the other person is not then Your not ready you have to wait for your significant other to catch up with you, If you believe that you can do it then you will, Both of you would need jobs making about 30 grand a year and everything would be perfect still have time for your Marriage and School all at the same time, kids can come at the same time but not suggested you don't want to be making 30 grand the rest of your living life.

Hi,
As per the present law for marriage, the youngest acceptable age to get married for girls is 21 years. As per medical theories also the right marriage age for girls is 21 years.

The youngest acceptable age would have to be when both parties, and their parents agree they should get married. (Regardless of age).
If the idea of marriage poses the question...then it's too young!
In my opinion: Parents need to allow (supervised) individuality. Let them make their mistakes, but be there to guide and rationalize with them. Dont make their desicions but show them the light. Discuss the possibilities, pro's and con's. You'd be surprised at what young people understand if you explain it correctly. Be gentle!

I think 16 is still alittle too young to get married, you are still just a kid and most marriages don't work out at this age. I think 18, you are just starting to get to know yourself so still alittle too young and still most marriages don't work out. I think 20 you know more about yourself, although I would find this age to be acceptable to get married although it is not a guarantee that it will work out and I think 22 would be a good age to get married!
I suppose there is never any guarantees about marriage.

Brigham Young said all unmarried men over 25 were a menace to society.
I don't know where he meant to put the coma :)
I think the answer is different for every man and woman. One guide though would be when they can be sure of providing for each other and a family.
