With 25000 murders a year, 60000 rapes and any children you have denied a university education and then a job because they have quotas to fill from the townships. Surely the penny must have dropped by now that South Africa is now the blackmans country and any whites that remain must surely be prosecuted for endangering the safety of their kids

You are over-simplifying the situation. There are differnet circumstances for blacks and Indians and white in the rural areas than they each experience in the major cities of SA.

Compared to other places like Zimbabwee or Angola, SA has actually transitioned better from the residual internal conflicts caused by colonial racial policies.

Portugal, Holland, and Spain established slavery in America in the 15th century. In the twentieth century, America was STILL STRUGGLING with the scars of slavery, like ghetto poverty and post-segregation problems, last time I checked.

HELLO: It takes a long time to recover and change after being enslaved, (in case you were never a peasant, serf, or slave).

Problems exist, but SA has been more moderate in addressing these problems, and less bloodshed has occurred since Apartheid ended. The black man is the MAJORITY in SA, and they should, under rules of democracy have a majority voice.

But the minority is also protected under the wise constitution of the new SA. Revenge and hate are not tolerated under the rule of law in SA.

Problems persist there, but you exaggerate the situation. Blacks have been deprived of participation in government in Africa for centuries. They sometimes lack sophistication and experience, but that is not their fault.

When you are trying to just eat each day and trying to survive Soweto Terror Nights, you don't have time to memorize 'Robert's Rules of Parlimentary Order', right?

They need to learn how to govern. We must be patient. So far, SA has been the best example of an indigenous democracy in the whole continent.

I personally know whites in positions of authority and power in SA today. They would never think of leaving THEIR country, which is multi-racial, multi-cultural, and democratic.

SA is also a fabulous place to visit as a tourist. Both blacks and whites in SA are kind, generous and welcoming to visitors. The countryside is beautiful and a good bargain. Shared Indian/black/white, or black-owned or run hotels and pubs, etc. can be found on the internet before you travel there.

Better question: Why are YOU so angry?

thats some distance too a lot of a accepted question. and quite frankly, extremely extremely ignorant. its like asking if the white individuals experience responsible about slavery contained in the 1800. apartheid change into instituted by a thoroughly diverse era than who's maximum influential at present. 'are you nevertheless a commie?' do you not understand what befell in south africa in any respect?! judging from you ridiculous question, you very obviously are not south africa so might want to quite do slightly extra study change into asking stupid issues. i don't believe of that we, as a cutting-edge era of white south africans, might want to experience responsible yet might want to quite study from the blunders that previous generations made so as now to not repeat previous atrocities

I am a white South African who chose to return after living in the UK for 5 years. Yes, I am pissed off with the situation and yes, I do fear for my child's future in South Africa. No, I have not been hijacked yet - but I do know people that have been. I do not live in fear of my life all the time but am aware of my environment and lock my car doors when driving etc. I do not want the World Cup here because I think it will be a disaster and an embarrassment.

BUT - I grew up in this country and love it and we are trying to enjoy it while we still can. My family is here and we have the outdoor activities, fantastic weather and amazing beaches. You have to visit this country and make the most of it while you can, because in ten years time it will be in ruins if the present government continues to be in power. Luckily I am married to a Frenchman and we have the chance to leave if we have to.

There are many people who live here who cannot leave - for their own reasons or simply choose not to leave. One thing is for certain, we wouldn't go and live in the UK because they seem to have paedophiles on every corner.

It depends if you can make a better living if you moved else where. A lot of people call South Africa home and home is where a person belongs.
