With my Mom, last Christmas over the phone. I live more than 1000 miles from where she is. With my father, 20 years ago as he passed in 1986.

My Dad, it has been 4 years, I saw him less than a month before he passed away, in Feb. 2003.
My Mom, a week ago, she is starting out with dementia, so I am losing her, too.

5 hours ago. My mum is in Sofia, Bulgaria & I call from Sydney every Saturday to speak with her. My dad died in 2005.
