Yes, but watch them carefully. If the male starts to attack her, don't let him kill her. That's why there are special breeding tanks with removable dividers. Despite common belief, pairing a mail and a female betta one on one generally doesn't work out. I recommend 3 females to one male. Remove the females after the eggs are laid.
