What's wrong with me?
Hello, ok so lately I've been annoyed with something. I love people I love to have conversations and everything. The only trouble is, I'm more of a listener. I feel a little inferior sometimes in situations, especially with talking. Like when I'm speaking a lot of times I'll be talking but I'm not concentrating on what I 'm saying, so I don't talk that long, I always wait for a response and let the other person talk the most. Unless I'm in a really good mood or something this usually happens, and it really bugs me! It's not that I never have anything important to say.. it's just lots of times I feel like I'm boring the person when its my turn to speak, or I'm saying something dumb I suppose. I don't know but I don't like it, because I want people to feel that I'm as interested as them in what we are talking about, I just don't know..Also I've noticed the people that I'm closest too interupt me often, so I was wondering if I'm presenting myself wrong when I talk? I want to talk too!

You need self confidence.

Some people dont natrually converse easily. It depends on your personality type and whever you draw energies from outside sources or use your own internal energy more. I find that talking about something you know a lot about makes it easier to carry a conversation, or sometimes try to stear a conversation towards a topic that you know quite well helps. Other than that, maybe try finding people to talk to who arent competing for the lime light all the time and actually invite you to talk more. I know in some groups I just dont like talking because there are sometimes many extraverted overbearing types, and thats not my personality.

If someone interrupts you, there are MANY ways to handle it! Example-Someone interrupts you, then YOU say:
1.)*they finish talking* Are you done? I'd like to finish what I'm telling you.
2.) B****! Shut-up! Can't you see I'm talking?!?!
3.) *just wait, dis/agree with what they say* Whatever, anyways like I was saying...
4.) Can you NOT be so rude and interrupt me when I'm talking like that again?

Or to get them to shut-up, look at your watch, examine your nails, or start putting on lip-gloss.

Don't let it bug you! Sometimes you gotta face the fact that some people just like to hear themself talk. There's nothing wrong with you! Next time, speak alittle louder, and make it look like you really are interested in what your about to talk about.

Good Luck, Hope this helped! =P

Yes, I know that feeling. I used to be a listener. I perhaps still am. But, I developed a great sense of humour and now, everyone wants me to talk.
