probally 30 to 40, my wife works at a video store so she gets used ones at a discount, but then most don't get watched and she ends up sending me to the Exchange to turn 'em in for cash (kinda a pop-culture binge and purge)
I'd say i have about a dozen movies that are sacred dvds and she's not allowed to touch, i've gone so far as to put them in "protective custody" and hide them just so they are safe from her
1. the original Star Wars Trilogy
2. Yojimbo
3. Pulp Fiction
4. Fight Club
5. Football Factory (love the move, but value wise because we only paid like $3 and i've watched that movie scores of time)

I have about 130 so far, but I am still collecting. I regard all of mine as good quality, although I must admit that about 10% of them could be regarded as B list films; but I love them all. I only buy films that I really like, or think that I am going to like. Any ones that I watch and decide that I dont like, I give away or sell them on e-bay. I like a vast range of films so, I have categorised them into particular genres.
My top five best value for money DVD's are:
1. Die Hard trilogy.£19.99 sale
2. Unbreakable, 2 disc collectors edition £4 sale
3. The 4400 2 disc edition (£1.50 mint condition from a charity shop!)
4. Mr and Mrs Smith - £2 sale.
5. Con Air £3 sale.
I have lots of other good films (in my opinion) that are just as special. But these are the main ones that come to mind.
Happy watching! :o)

Almost 1000, but I live in Asia, and over here, you pay on average less than $1 for a DVD... Not to mention you can buy the DVD of a movie before it is actually released in theaters.
