do you know tha term that describes that a father always dominates his daughter...like the father can dictate whom his daughter SHOULD marry...and the girl would just follow her father...?

That was true for high profile marriages. Arranged marriages were used among the rich and powerfull to join wealth. Think of it as the mergers of ancient times.

i only know that daughter is always close to dad & her understands her feelings .while son likes his mother.
