I was engaged to a German girl many years ago and i had a whale of a time. Unfortunately, it ended badly and she was a very
complicated individual.
All Germans are nice when you get to know them. German girls are quite nice, especially the quieter ones who can be very suprising in many ways! Well educated, liberal and with a deep sense of humanity and compassion (mostly).

My first wife was half, and I liked both halves of her just fine. Never had a full-blooded native, but I liked the ones I've met traveling (and I've done a lot of it), especially the ones in the South. Generally attractive, very fastidious about their appearance, VERY rarely fat and sloppy, and although they are sort of reserved (at least to American sensibilities), they loosen up pretty easily, have good senses of humor, and are rarely really rude (like French women often are).
And they are smart. Like all Germans. I've yet to meet one of either sex that was stupid.
