I am American, and do not believe the war in Iraq is due to 9/11.......I think it is an excuse to go over there.....We will probably never know the real truth in all of this, perhaps many years from now if at all.....I don't buy the pacifying the people explaination for how those towers and #7 building came down.....so much just doesn't add up.....but there are those who will say my thoughts are rediculous, that what "loose change" for instance is hogwash, and yet it makes more sense than anything I have heard so far......we will probably never really know.....the whole thing is just a bit scary if you ask me.....I hate to say this phrase, cause' it always leads to bad stuff, but "what's next"?....that is the scary part.....

Evidently this is not the place to come if you really want to know the truth, and want to hide in a bucket of sand. To all of those who responded in the negative, go to the library and check out a copy of (may be available in used book stores) "The Unseen Hand" by Ralph Epperson, who essentially lays some pretty serious groundwork for this book on The Conspiratorial View of History. I have been, also, for some time, been reading Michael Ruppert's book "Crossing the Rubicon - The Decline of The American Empire at The End of The Age of Oil".
One aspect of the 9/11 incident, was the attack (so called) on the Pentagon. There are a number of fallacies with regard to this portion of the day's events. No landing gear was evident in any picture at the crash site. The damage to the building was minimal given the size of plane that supposedly hit it. There is additional evidence on various websites, of which I listed on a similar question. Let me say this, though, 3,000 people died (through our own governments machinations) in order for congress to scuttle our Bill of Rights. There is so much evidence, and it's substantiated in Ruppert's book et al, of a variety of conspiracies in connection not only with the destruction of the WTC towers (and building 7 which wasn't hit) but the original hit on the WTC in'93 and the Oklahoma City bombing.
Before any other answers are so quick to condemn those of us who have studied this, ask yourself this question "Why don't things in this country change more significantly with a change in administrations?" The answer is, that there's someone else controlling things from behind the scenes.
I will list one of my web sites which has links to much more in this regard.

2003 Iraq War is not direct result of 911. There have been group of people in our government and Iraq who wanted Saddam ousted since 91 Iraq War. Remember that it was WMD case against Saddam that was made in public not Saddam was linked to 911. You have to really go back to 91 and probably even far before in order to see why we ended up in Iraq in 2003. It's not that simple as you may want it to be. It was never 911 and we go to Iraq. 911 was important that it was big help to win public support for the war. But it was not that big of a factor if you consider the US have been trying to provoke Iraq into military action since 91 with air strikes trying to make Saddam hit back so we can go in and take him out.
Truth is that there were lot of stuff going on behind closed doors that helped to launch 2003 Iraq War starting from 91. The public saw 911 and many still assume it is 911 alone that led us into Iraq. And it is very superficial way to looking at this comlex world issue.
If they wanted to make up something to attack Iraq it would have been something like Iraq attacking US airforce in the region. We didn't leave completely after 91. The US have been bombing targets in Iraq even after the 91 Iraq War was over. So there's no point trying to create fake disaster at home when they can create fake 'Iraqi attack US force in Middle East' story. That would have been much better than that weak WMD story.

No I do not believe in the conspiracy stories that circulate around 9-11. Do feel it was the lack of communication between government heads that let this happen. Think someone should be accountable for this terrible act.

Theories? NO! I believe a very evil man masterminded the attack and he was and is no where close to Iraq, or being captured.

Sure it was a conspiracy...and the Earth is flat and Elvis is alive and well working in a donut shop in Cleveland. I saw some websites that proved all those things.
