i recently bought a compaq presairio with 256 mb ram n 40gb hard disk. the prob is as soon as open my system i get a warning saying "u r system is shutting down save all ur work" it is also written something abt NT AUTHORITY.
i also have a trojan infected a file. it cannot be cleaned or deleted or quarantined. what do i do ?

it also says tht some RPC server is unavailable
my system is getting slow day by day.

Simple answer is to use the restoration cd that came with the pc to do a destructive reinstall....this will erase the hard drive and reinstall the operating system back to the way it was when you got it. Longer answer is to run a few different scans both before and after startup....there are several tools and programs out there both free and paid, that you can use to clean out the offending file/files. Start with hijack this to get info on the file(s) that are causing the problem, also run a rootkit revealer type of program....then run antivirus scans as well as something like spybot search and destroy, adaware, and windows defender....you'll need to identify the file and/or files causing the problem(s) and boot into safe mode, (pressf8 during bootup) and then do a search for the file(s) and delete it. You may need to get the specific removal tool for the trojan/virus that you have which can usually be found by going to your antivirus programs website.

Well first install a new version of Norton Antivirus , after installing it update till you get all of updates , after that restart your computer , start your windows in SAFE MODE , and then run a FULL COMPUTER SCAN ....!!!

you Have a virus named SASAR, you need a good anti-virus like e-trust or Norton to clean your computer.
