Women always love jewelry, but not gold plated stuff. Better to get a piece of real silver, much cheaper than Gold and far better than fashion jewelery.
A bracelet, a pendant and chain, or earrings. Even eternity rings in silver are quite affordable, but you need to know the finger size, that might be tricky if you want it to be a surprise. Jewelery is very cheap on eBay. If you haven't shopped there before, a word of caution, there are many listings looking like beautiful pieces, worded to sound like real silver or real gold, but in fact they are filled, bonded, or plated. Make sure the listings say, 925 Silver, or Sterling Silver, or Hallmarked. Take into account the Postage cost too.
Happy Anniversary!

Write a 5 lined poem (1 for each year)...then at dinner (French or Italian dont matter) give her a pair of gloves for a gift (with one line in every finger) ....If she doesn't put them on immediately ask her to try them on. Or take her to a pool hall (she'll hate it .. lol) and have the lines of your poem taped on the bottom of the pool balls 1-5. She'll get it after the first ball. Most restaurants will help you with the request if you ask in advance. Good luck and Happy Anniversary
