Many question the religious, moral and ethical viewpoints of homosexual marriages. Because religion can not play a role in the decision to allow or deny homosexual marriage in law, what are the moral or ethical reasons you stand by your belief in the matter? whether for or against.

Well this is alway a good subject. For the same reasons we do not allow men to marry dogs we do not allow men to marry men or woman to marry woman. It is not natural or moral. Laws serve as a moral basis for civilized living. Thus the function of the legal code in a nation is to serve the nations best interest not the interest of less then 2 percent of the population.
The moral componet of the marriage comes from the fact that a civil union between a man and woman produces offspring that in turn continue to add to the nation morals and vurture. That is not the case in gay marriage. Children are the product of marriage with one wife and one husband. Both parents have trates that develope that child into a well rounded person. In a gay marriage that is not the case. A marriage with 2 gay person presents a distored picture of actualy social norms and thus the child has losed his prespective of normal reality.
Truth be told less then 100 years ago if two people were found in a gay relationship they were took care of on the spot. It was considered even against nature as it is. Today with the great lack of morals in the world the homosexual wants to broadcast his perverted morals into evey ones living room and also to be called normal. Well it will not happen in my home.
Religion does speak of this lifestyle. In the catholic faith, the muslims faith, and the christian faith they all agree that Gays are a abomination. Who would have thought with all the bickering that these three would agree on this issue.

Absolutely not. In keeping with the communist manifesto, one of the goals of the liberal leftist extremists is to destroy the traditional family unit.

This is a big reason that our society is quickly going down the toilet. Liberalism is a cancer and a mental disorder.

As far as religion not playing a role in this decision, you are mistaken. The United States is a nation built upon Christian principles, like it or not. The so-called separation of church and state is not part of the Constitution....and the founding fathers did not put it there for a reason. While citizens of the US have the right to practice or not to practice any religion they choose, these principles remain the same. It is the liberal communists who have sodomized the Constitution and these principles, one of which is the family unit (consisting of a father and a mother, period).

A persons sexual orientation is also their choice, but perverting these principles will only lead to further perversion. If this is legalized, people will want to marry multiple persons (after all, they love each other, right?) or animals (its still all love, right?), or other twisted ideas to destroy the traditional family unit.

They have the option of civil unions. I believe that marriage is to be between a man and a women only. I do not want to open the door to change the institution of marriage. The family unit is too important and denies the right of a child to have both a mother and a father in his or hers life.

no i certainly dont think it should be accepted legally.

why? it aint natural...i have never seen any animals in this life be homosexual...if they want to do this, the entire united nations should buy some land from anyplace in the world, (like we did for the jewish people)...make them their own country called homoland with a pink flag homo activity as their symbol. by the way, they will not be permitted to adopt children from anywhere on earth...
now, after one generation of homoland, guess what? they are extinct!! so, the legality of accepting them legally was only temporary.

why should tax payers have to subsidize gayness?

Why not? As long as the government does not impose upon churches and religions that have strict doctrine against homosexuality to perform ceremonies, I don't see why two people in love can't bind themselves together legally.

I believe homosexual marriages should be accepted legally because everyone deserves to be happy.

Of course. If it is illegal, then it shouldn't be! Why should it be illegal to love someone in the same sex as you? Loving someone is most certainly not a crime. If that is not a crime, then why should homosexual marriages be?
