get a water pistol and spray him from a distance when you catch him doing it - he will then associate the water with the wires and he also wont be afraid of you as he doesnt know what direction the water is coming from

my rabbits do the same thing. I got electricuted once cus I grabbed a cord that they chewed through. (Didnt know it was chewed until AFTER I grabbed it) I've had to basically finda way to either put the cords and wires up high where they cant reach, or block them from getting access to these cords. (by the way, dont listen to the people who say leave them in their cage, I know you cant do this..they need their exercise..if a day goes by where ive been super busy and havent had time to let them out of their cage, they retaliate by kicking all of their bedding out of the cage and all over my floor). A water gun works but since rabbits have such thick fur you gotta shoot them a few times before they even notice it. What I do is, every time I see them headed for a wire, I clap really loud or make another really loud sound. it freaks them out and they take off. They've almost gotten the concept that every time they go near a cord theyre gonna hear that loud freaky noise. Maybe a combination of this and a water gun will do the trick.

Other than that I've just had to buy a lot of throw rugs to hide the wires that I cant put up high, and figure out ways to block off access to the rest of them.

Do not have him/her out of the cage unless you are closely supervising. Chewing electrical wires can be dangerous.

Try bitter apple spray. Rabbits do not like the taste of it. Certain rabbits suppliers sell this. You can find a list of suppliers on the ARBA website under "links."

i had a rabbit who did this ,you could try sprinkling pepper around ,but it is very dangerous as it can cause a fire ,or electrocute the rabbit,we were 2 days without a phone before realising the rabbit had chewed through the wires

ha ha mine did the same thing!!!

I didn't have a solution before I had to give the rabbit away,
but I would suggest you keep him in one large room, or
you must have something to protect the wires, or just go to the pet store and ask for advise]

(this may sound cruel, but it wasn't my fault)

I came into the lounge and my rabbit was chewing on the TV cables, and he shocked him-self and caused a total black out for the whole complex of apartments!
(a bit funny, though he didn't die!)

Rabbits are attracted to electric current. Keep wires etc away from him/her .

Have you tried a cage or playpen? Fill it with toys, food and water. I don't think it's wise to let your bun run all over the house anyway. He could hurt himself. Also..just wondering...where is he going to the bathroom all day long?
