1. It is poor in infrastructure. No Road, Port Air connectivity as per the population
2. Reserve is insufficent. (Foreign exchange)
3. Gold reserve is insuffient. perhaps only country where the Govt has lesser Gold Stock then the people of India !

You want to be a developing country because it means people don't jump all over you to enforce the Kyoto controls on your industry, though. It basically means you are still catching up with the very top and deserve some leeway.

India does seem like a developed country to me in the classic sense, however.

Its a misnomer . We are still least developed. Just developin.
Our preservance and self content makes us grow slow ( Feelin gud !!!!!).
We rank 88 in Transperancy International Corruption Index and share d rank wid Gabon, Male,Bosnia,Tanzania, Armenia and Iran. Our women are left at home to contribute very less.

in india the leaders are themselves very corrupt and its full of curroption and india is a developing country but not a developed
