No I prefer the real thing, but some say it goes well with rabbit. Try the Anne Summers recipe for extra saucy tips.

Dill goes especially well with cured or raw fish. Chop finely if putting into sauce, leave fresh and whole for garnish. It is not spicey; so taste some before using it, and it will give you a indea as to the final flavour you are going to achieve. It is often accompanied by sour cream and /or white pepper.

Try these: boil 3 or more eggs till hard; then slice them, chop some sping onion, reddish, add some salt (optional), olive oil (1 tbs) and lemon juice (1 or 2 tbs, optional, depends whether you like sour taste) and some finely chopped dill (you can chop half of that bunch you buy at supermarket or a little bit less). Mix it well.

Dill goes very well with eggs, tomato sauce or tomato soup., fish, red lentils soup, bean soup... and mushed potatoes!

If in conjunction with salmon. Dill seems to solely be used with salmon, don't know why that is tho' perhaps it tastes bogging with everything else!
