it is all part of normal variability, and heightened awareness of what is happening in the world, there was a lot less info and hype before

Global warming, as far as I know, has not been accurately measured. Temps used to insinuate a rising global mean temperature were not taken in a controlled environment.
Many temps used over time were measurements close to growing cities, and cities are "heat islands". If a weather station is 2 miles outside residential areas in the 50's and well within the urban sprawl in the 80's, the temps won't be meaningfully comparable. They will naturally show an increase in year-round temps due to the heat put off by urban areas.
On the other hand, it can be demonstrated that we went through a "mini ice age" from about 1400-1850 AD. Ice was documented in northern hemisphere waters far from where it should have been in many different sources. The ice began noticeably retreating in the 1850's, and so you could say that the earth has been in a general warming trend since then.

It is impossible to ascribe any particular weather event to global warming. The best that one can comfortably say is that in general, as a result of anthropogenic carbon dioxide and methane emissions, the energy contained in our earth's atmosphere will increase. This increase in energy will provide a concommitant, although not necessarily proportional, increase in the average temperature of the planet. Currently there is approx 380 ppm (parts per million) equivalent CO2 in the air ( compare with approx 278 ppm at the end of the nineteenth century) but as CO2 is only a minor contributor to the greenhouse effect ( the largest contributor being water vapour at approx 95%) this corresponds to what one would expect to be a small increase in temperature ( empirically we find that somwhere between a .5 and .9 degree celsius depending on what year you start the tally). Also due to worldwide glacial retreat and a loss of almost 3% (in summer...7% in winter) of the arctic ice the albedo of the earth has changed such that an immense amount of energy is now absorbed by the dark water of the arctic and of newly expose land. What this all means to our climate is not yet determinable.

Scientist believe the earth has been through several ice ages followed by a global warming trend. So yes it is normal. The question now is whether or not we as humans have accelerated that global warming trend.

yes these signs are a effect of global warming, i think so. if you think these are all unusual to your place, then these sudden changes in the climate your place are due to global warming. yes, nowadays scientist predict that the places which are usually very cold are getting warmer and hotter than ever due to this global warming. there are several effects and changes due to this global warming. i think your place will have much polluted air, this may also cause a warm weather. but snow storms are not from global warming.

The earth moves constantly thus creating trends, the continental plates shift making the earth's crust move. It used to be one large land mass and is now seven different pieces, so weather patterns change. It's perfectly normal and hard to predict. Thats why the weather man is never right.

global warming involves climate change.unfortunately we havent been keeping records on climate long enought because its a process which takes thousands of years.its very possible that the pollution has something to do with it seeing is how industrialization, something proven to cause green house gases, has not declined and in fact is constantly expanding. But it also may be just a phase in the planets climate. either way its going to kill us all just like the west nile virus, mad cow, bird flu, terrorists, meteorites,or weapons of mass destruction. the greatest threat to human life doesnt come from the earth, it comes from humans themselves.

Global warming is a natural process, however, we have managed to speed it up.
