I know it is already public...but 'ok' should it have been broadcast or should the person responsible be held accountable.

Even though it's already public, I would say no. Even though Sadaam was a dictator, it's still in very bad taste to broadcaste his death. Why cause people more pain than need be?

Some greedy person has made money out of this hanging event. Also the persons who planned this on the Day of Festival for muslims are also the most cruel Brutal minded people. This is an insult to all the muslims. They should have done it at any other time. They have done it as if they are going to live in this world for ever. They should read the Holy Book and make themselves in the Straight Path of life. Other wise they will be the loser in the Life-After Death which is eternal. I pray that this kind of thing should not create more "Terrorists" in Iraq & other places.

He should have been hanged in public as an object lesson to dictators everywhere that it could happen to them too. Video of Sadaams hanging and the new gash in neck video shown on http://jairusotieno.blogspot.com provide closure to Sadaam's numerous victims families. I for one shed not a tear for the death of this vile murderer.

I do not believe that it should. Our young people were very much affected by the 9/11 videos that were broadcast over and over again by the media. I would not want the same thing to be done with his death. He was sadistic in his dealings with people. I do not want him to be a martyr for others. That would really be sad in and of itself. I am rather glad that he will not harm others again but I don't want his death to be exageratted by others either. Have a great weekend!

No. I don't see any reason why people would have to see that.

One child has already accidentally killed himself by mimicking the hanging. There's no reason to create a risk of some similar tragedy happening again.

I would like to see all the videos of the people he tortured. Then all the liberals would quit whinning about someone heckling him at his hanging. I would hope anyway.
