You've got to make a seperation between a physical and emotional attraction here. I've recently developed an emotional attraction for someone i've known nearly 7 years but there was no instant physical attraction when i met them.

As we get more used to people and we really get to see their personalities we can become attracted.

Not someone I found repulsive, no, but there have been guys who I hadn't noticed right away that eventually seemed to become more interesting to me once I got to know them. If someone's personality and character are particularly appealing, they will actually *look* more attractive to me also. In the reverse, a good-looking guy can become less attractive if I find out he's a jerk.

My boyfriend and I have been together for over 7 years and counting when I met him he was awkward and very insecure. I wasn't looking for love nor was I looking for sex. He happened to walk into a circle of friends and we took the train home together. On the way we realized we had alot in common and took it from there. I have helped build his self esteem and he has helped build mine. In my opinion I don't believe I can love someone as much as him. Now he is a model and comfortable with who he is and loves who he is with.

No one is perfect and looking for perfection will only end in self doubt. If you love unconditionally you will get unconditional love back.

Yes. My ex told me her first impression of me was I was weird, over confident, stuck up and too tom-boyish. Eventually it was I was too flirtatious, can't keep my eyes to myself always talking to other girls and well to make a long story short she was irritated with me all the time. So I stayed away from her I thought she hated me and she always seemed to be pissed at me so I just brushed it off as permanent PMS syndrome. I never looked at her as anything more than a friend until I began noticing the small things she would do for me. She made me some little bracelets, made me lunch, found a pretty stone and gave it to me for no reason, always lit up whenever I came around even if she was cussing me a storm..I actually began to look forward to her outbursts just to see the look on her face..I guess I began to see through the act she was putting up and I would look str8 at her and she would avert her eyes in embarrassment..I guess I began to find myself attracted to her and found out later on she was irritated with herself because she was attracted to me..funny the whole time I thought she hated me she was fighting within herself to hate me not fall in love with me but I guess Love won out instead..well thats my story..hope it was entertaining..laters~
