haha funny thing about this... yes journalism is a great career and I respect talented journalists who have merit and can support what they write.
If you're aspiring to be a journilist don't major in journalism

A journalist has to EARN the respect he gets, he does this by being a tenacious, anti sensationalist. champion of the truth.

Definitely yes with decent journalism and true journalists.
They endanger their lives to bring the world to our eyes.
