If Isreal ended its occupation of the Palestinian land it would not bring peace. The basis for the animosity stems from the fact that Isreal was given the land in 1947 that was owned by the Palestinians at that time to create a jewish homeland for the european jews. What is lost in this struggle is that there were Jews living in peace in the area prior to the forming of this new Isreali state. Imagine if some outside govenment were to designate your state as a homeland for another nation and systematically evicting you. Yeah....thats why the arabs are so peeved.

Occupation is not good. Just ask the insurgents in Iraq.

As long as there is a Israel in the middle east, there will never be Peace. Did anything smooth our when Israel gave back land last year ? With leaders of other nations shouting out that they want the complete destruction of Israel tell you anything ? The current fight amongst the Palestinians over control of Palestine give you a clue? There are three way to have Peace in the Middle East.
1. Let Israels neighbors attack Israel and wipe it out
2. Let Israel completely destroy all of its warring neighbors.
3. All countries accept Israels right to exist as a sovereign nation

No, ending Israeli occupation will not bring peace to the middle east, because the middle east problems are caused by the US and the EU for there intrest not by the israeli occupation.
The Israeli occupation is just a pretest, and the fact is that there will never be a peace in the middle East don't even think about it.

Definitely yes! Well since the palestinians had get back their land, surely there would be no conflict around the area. The main reason why the islam people really fight to get back the land is because Palestin is one of the holy land in the Islam religion. Al-Qaeda, HAMAS, HIZBULLAH and all other organization that been labelized by the US as terrorist organization surely would not be exist if there would be no Israel country and when all those organization would not exist, the conflict also would not exist and the people in middle east could live in peaceful.

There is no question about it. The Palestinians need their own country every bit as much if not more that the Jews do. Israel has DISREGARDED over 160 UN resolutions since 1967 which favored the Palestinians and has continued with US aid to expand the settlements into Palestinian territory and treating them as slaves. Hamas is but a symptom of events. Occupation and suppression of any peoples is Never good.

Ah yes our great president Carter lol or I mean the best EX president we ever had. There will never be peace in the middle east as long as Israel exists. They give them back land they will find another reason to fight with them. Carter wouldn't know good sense if it jumped up and bit him on the butt/

People must understand that Israel want to keep land that was never part of Israel which was created by the UN. Israel is violating every law. Israel is living without constitution. Israeli democracy is like that of the old South African mockarcy.

Care to discuss how Israel came to possess the Disputed Territories? Here's a hint, it was the Arabs' fault.

Do you remember when Egypt made peace with Israel and Egypt DIDN'T WANT GAZA BACK?

Do you remember when Jordan made peace with Israel and Jordan DIDN'T WANT THE WEST BANK BACK?

You missed a couple facts, there, lady.
