i will hav 2 go 2 a male gyne. How shud i feel. M little embarrased n nervous. Help me plz....

My first pap was by a male doctor and he made me feel completely comfortable. Actually I have had very bad experiences with females being to rough where as male docs are a little embarrased and don't understand what it feels like so they are very carefully. The thing is they are all qualified and professional and they have seen it all.

Hey, dont worry about it. Ive been to a male gyne and it wasnt all that bad. You feel a little uncomfortable in teh begining because youll be shy and all...But just keep it in mind that this guy has seen millions of vaginas and he doesnt care! Youre just another person hes gettin cash from ;). Go for it, and dont be shy!

i feel bad for ladies that have an issue of the gender of their doctor. Let me assure you, that whether you go to a male or female doctor, its pretty much the same. visit this male doctor, his probably gonna be great in terms of his profession, and if you feel violated, be sure not to return and if be, you may take legal action. but go with postive attitude, doctors have signed and taken oath to there degree's and professions to be gental and work on the level of the patient. he will keep everything in confidence, such as if you have a problem. if he violates your rights, he could lose everything and no doctor wants that. good luck, im sure eveything will be fine.

first consider why you are going there...to see a physician! i have been to both-male & female. the woman MD was a little more gentle. however both of my two girls were delivered by a male MDs. you have nothing to be nervous about this person studied the female anatomy and physiology in great length to service you. let her do her job- it only takes a few minutes!

I have never used a female gyn.....I have the most caring, informative male gyn I have ever had in my life....relax they have seen there before....its nothing new to them
