The term 'Dinosaur' actually means vertebrate animals (animals with a backbone) that lived ON LAND roughly 65 - 230 million years ago, so there never were any dinosaurs in the oceans. Though there were several large aquatic animals that lived in the ocean during the same time frame (plesiosaur, mosasaur), these creatures are incorrectly called dinosaurs. (1)

As for creatures from the time of dinosaurs still being alive today, the fossil record of sharks extends back over 250 million years, before vertebrate animals even existed on land. (2)

I would say that there is a good chance that there are large, strange creatures living undiscovered in the deep ocean. Rare creatures like the Megamouth Shark (3) and the Giant Squid (4) have only recently been discovered in the ocean depths. The Megamouth shark is a very unusual looking shark, and was not discovered until 1976, a mere 30 years ago. The existance of the Giant Squid was also hard to prove, as very few carcasses are found, and many of these are extremely decayed. It was not until only TWO YEARS AGO that a live giant squid was photographed in it's natural habitat. Given that these two species lived undetected for so long makes me think it's possible that animals similar to the Plesiosaur (5) or the Mosasaur(6) could still be hiding in the oceans depths today.

sort of, but they're mostly already extinct. One of the most well known ancient fish is coelacanth (or something on that lines, not really sure how to spell it). There are many others too.
