No it actually doesn't.......because when you swallow a burp it goes right into your lungs and it's stored there for later!! but a fart is always in your intestines... that means that a burp could never turn in to a fart because there is no passage way for them to connect!!!

Nope, it makes you stomach growl.
If you swallow a big gulp of air like you're trying to make yourself burp, but you don't let it come out, it travels down to your tum-tum and the extra air makes a growling noise.
Who knew a goofy question like this would actually have an answer? =)
