One of my favorite fiesta in the main city Manila is the Fiest of the Black Nazarene here in Quiapo. Every year devoted catholics of the black nazarene carries the black nazarene around the Quiapo. People are on bare foot.

watched them get crucified in Nueva Ecija on Easter.....

But as far as fiestas or festivals are concerned, I don't like any. Reason is any local town fiesta blocks off the roads and you drive at walking pace through the whole town. It's as much fun as a funeral.

I witnessed the caring of the cross back in the early 80s. It was a pretty dedicated ceremony

i like barrio fiesta in milipitas, california. they have buffet on thursdays and fridays. the best pansit and bipistik in the area. and for only $8.95! also, for $4.50, you can have halo-halo. yummy!

they opened a gerry's grill up the freeway, in fremont, and let me tell you, they charge an arm and a leg and their food isn't even that good. bakit ganoon ang mga filipino pag nag bukas ng restaurant dito sa amerika? harang laging ang prices nila. kasi mga suwapang e, gusto kaagad yumaman. mga wa-klas naman ang mga taste. kasi halos lahat ng mga filipino dito sa amerika e mga promdi. diyahe! thank God i'm not mistaken for a filipino, since i'm mestizo. thank you, God! hehehe...
