I cannot control when I fart now that I'm pregnant. It's soo embarrasing and loud. Did this happen to any of you? Please tell me.

Yup! Pressure of baby, excess gas from progesterone, increase of food intake, and relaxation of sphincters makes a recipe for uncontrollable gas.

From what I understand, it's very normal and expected to have excessive wind when you are pregnant. We nicknamed my sister "Chicago" after the Windy City when she was pregnant. Just give the room a blanket "Pardon me, I have pregnancy gas," and people will understand it's something you can't help or avoid. Congrats on your baby.

Completly normal. You know the *urge* to pee? thats that same thing as the preg gas. As your baby gets bigger, you start to get pressure on your insides. Your intestines are moved around to make room for baby. It also can be caused or be made worse by the craving foods you eat
