absolutely, positively, unequivocally NO WAY IN HELL do I consider that murdering s.o.b. a hero. Soliciting his help against the Soviet Union would have been like police recruiting John Wayne Gacy to help capture Jeffrey Dahlmer.

Hitler was a mad, demonic hateful human being who used his position of power to unfold his maniacal ends. At the time he came to power the Germans were in desperation and would have accepted anyone who would have brought Germany back from the days after the Treaty of Versailles and the incompetent but well-meaning Weimar Republic. He did secure things and was look on as a hero by those who were themselves mislead and/or evil as well

If you need heroes, I could think of approximately 5 billion better choices than Hitler.

No, I think he was insane. He was trying to make the Arian race supreme when he wasn't actual Arian himself. That's a bit odd for a start. He was also completely incapable of comprehending the fact that the germans were losing. Check out Stalingrad by Anton Beever for his reaction to the news that the German troops were in an impossible situation and had not choice but to surrender.

Definition:
hero n
1. legendary man with superhuman powers
2. remarkably brave person
3. somebody admired See also superhero
4. main character in fictional plot See also antihero
5. long sandwich
Unless you meant definition number 5, where Hitler is the name of a sandwich somewhere (I think it he would make a stinky sandwich though), then Definitly Mr. Hitler is NO HERO

No. He was a terrible man. He was brilliant though...in a sense. Did you know that he helped invent tank and was an artist? If he only used his intelligence for good instead of the horrific things he caused he may have then been a hero.

Not in terms of his philosophy and political opinions, but I really admire how he managed to become a dictator and completely disobey the agreements in the Treaty of Versailles for so long. He was a brilliant guy; if only he'd put his skills to better use...

A fallen hero, yes. He saved the Western half of Europe from communism by destroying the offensive military force deployed in western Russia, preparatory to invasion. Hitler beat Stalin to the punch and ruined the Bolsheviks' plans.
If the West had stood with Hitler, instead of backing the Jewish bankers who were trying to punish him for refusing their "economic assistance" loans, Soviet communism would have been defeated in the 1940s and the Cold War and the threat of escalation into nuclear war, and the expenditure of trillions of dollars trying to deter nuclear war, would never have happened. And ALL of Europe would have been saved from Communism, not just the Western half of it.
Before the Jews bribed him, Winston Churchill was profuse with his praise for Adolf Hitler's energy and economic genius. It was only after Jewish diamond magnate Henri Strakosch bought Churchill's debts and made him to understand that he'd lose his estate if he didn't get with the Jewish political agenda that Churchill became Hitler's enemy.
Rudolf Hess is another hero. Just before hostilities erupted at the beginning of WW2, Rudolf Hess flew a small airplane to England, landed, and tried to conduct a personal diplomatic embassy to stop the war and prevent the death and destruction it would cause. But the Jewish bankers wanted the war to punish Hitler for refusing their loans, for refusing to get Germany endebted to them, so Hess was arrested (for what?) and thrown into prison. And he remained a prisoner (for what?) until he died.
