Well, I have learnt something. I had a guess at the reason for Stig No1 being killed off and it was to "replace" him with several Stigs....WTF? I turned out to be right!!!

I would guess its various people - possibly ex F1 or a professional test driver.
Stating the obvious, STIG has always been refered to as a man so that rules out 1/2 of th population !
Although judging by some of the celeb times I think we can rule out -
Johnny Vagas
Richard Whiteley
Harry Enfield

Well, I always get the reference to the former rally driver Stig Blomqvist. Who knows? It's a mystery....

the daily express claimed it is formula 1 driver Julian Baily.but it might only be a guess

Not exactly sure who he is ie a name but his father is a patient in the doctors surgery where my mum works, so my Mum knows who he is but can't say due to patient confidentiality
